Cartizze is a prestigious highly steep hill with a marvellous sun exposure, steady ventilation and a land of sandy origin where Glera vine (prosecco) gets its best expression.

Grapes coming from this area must be winemaking exclusively inside the district of Valdobbiadene.
Cartizze can be commercialized only if “spumantizzato” (sparkling) and bottled.

Hailing from a narrow area of 106 hectars which gets every year more or less 1,2 millions of bottles, Cartizze is known as “The Gold Pentagon”.
